Heather Moreno to present at women business owners’ luncheon
–The Central Coast California chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) will meet Friday, March 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for lunch at the San Luis Obispo Country Club. Guests are welcome to attend.
Heather Moreno, owner of Weight Breakthrough, knows that in a business owner’s life, building the business takes priority while health and wellness often take a back seat. Or they don’t get a seat at all! At this meeting, Heather will share how to develop and stick with healthy habits, even when you feel like quitting.
“There are simple steps business owners can take to fit health and wellness into their hectic schedules,” says Moreno. “And for long-term success, making time for healthy habits is a non-negotiable.”
Attendees will leave with specific strategies to reach their health goals so that they have more energy to reach their business goals.
The luncheon event will include opportunities for attendees to network with other business owners. NAWBO CCC is a local chapter of a national organization dedicated to helping female entrepreneurs succeed.
According to Dawn Goonetilleke, President of the Central Coast Chapter, the organization focuses on being purposeful, effective, courageous advocates for women business owners.
“The demands on a woman business owner are different than those made on men,” says local business owner and NAWBO Board member Mary Cravets. “NAWBO gives us a place to be both powerful and vulnerable with a group of women who completely get it.”
Reservations for the luncheon made by Monday, Feb. 26 at 5pm are $32 for members, $37 for non-members. Reservations can be made via the events page at www.facebook.com/NAWBOCCC/. For information on joining NAWBO with its networking opportunities visit www.nawbo.org and click on “Membership.”
