HammerSky Vineyards awarded double gold medal at rosé competition 

HammerSky Vineyard is located at 7725 Vineyard Dr. in Paso Robles.

Local winery HammerSky Vineyards was recently awarded a double gold medal at The 2015 Rosé Competition at Simi Winery in Healdsburg, Calif. HammerSky’s Rosé was selected from a field of 192 wines submitted from 19 states.

The competition was judged by Christopher Sawyer, Denise Gill, Debra Del Fiorentino, Rick Fraga, Sue Straight, Debra Parker Wong and Ray Johnson.

Eleven Double Gold Medals were awarded to the following vineyards: Atwater Estates from Burdett, New York; Azur Wines from Napa, California; Blakeslee Vineyard Estates from Sherwood, Oregon; Blue Sky Vineyards from Makanda, Illinois; Ellipsis Wine Company from Healdsburg, California; Epiphany from Los Olivos, California; J. Rickards Wineryfrom Cloverdale, California; Lange Twins Family Winery from Acampo, California; Martin Ray Winery from Santa Rosa, California (Best in Class) and McPherson Cellars from Lubbock, Texas, as well as Hammersky.

A subsequent event, celebrating the Gold Medal winning wines will be held on Saturday, May 30, at Simi Winery.
