Four arrested for drug sales and operating drug house
Officers found controlled substances, cash, weapons and drug manufacturing materials
– San Luis Obispo Police arrested four residents on March 20 during a narcotics investigation involving the sale of controlled substances and the operation of a drug house.
At approximately 9:50 a.m., detectives served a search warrant and stopped a vehicle on Santa Rosa Street near the intersection of Meinecke. Shane Reed Parker, 38, of San Luis Obispo, was arrested at the scene for a felony warrant related to possession of a controlled substance for sale. Officers also found a substantial amount of cash and a small quantity of fentanyl in the trunk of the vehicle.
Following the vehicle stop, detectives executed the remainder of the search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Murray Avenue, where Parker was living. Officers discovered 50 grams of methamphetamine, 56 grams of fentanyl, LSD gel tabs, brass knuckles, a stun gun, a metal baton, cash, drug paraphernalia including scales and plastic baggies, and two jars containing a liquid solvent used to produce dimethyltryptamine, also known as DMT. San Luis Obispo County hazardous materials personnel responded to collect the liquid safely.
Parker was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail for the felony warrant. Additional charges filed against him include felony operation of a drug house, felony possession of metal knuckles, two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance for sale, felony possession of a controlled substance with prior convictions, and misdemeanor possession of a stun gun.
Three additional residents of the Murray Avenue property were also charged in connection with the investigation.
William Jack Phelps, 45, of San Luis Obispo, was charged with felony operation of a drug house, felony possession of a controlled substance with prior convictions, and felony possession of a controlled substance for sale.
Shannon Christine Sanda, 40, of San Luis Obispo, was charged with felony operation of a drug house and felony possession of a controlled substance with prior convictions.
Evan Thomas Dyer, 39, of San Luis Obispo, was charged with felony operation of a drug house.
