Flooding causes multiple collisions throughout county 

Tuesday’s rainfall totaled 1.04 inches

–Multiple parts of the county flooded yesterday as a result of a large storm system that hit much of the West Coast.

California Highway Patrol reported multiple traffic collisions on Highway 101, due mostly to water on the Cuesta Grade that created dangerous driving conditions. Eye witnesses are also reported mud flows on highways 46 and 41.

Weather Underground is currently predicting a 78-percent chance of rain for late Friday night into Saturday morning.
