This month’s event will feature performance by LuLu & The Chaos

– The City of Atascadero’s First Fridays event series will continue this Friday in the Downtown area. The event is free to attend and runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This month’s event will feature a performance by LuLu & The Chaos, a supergroup of Central Coast musicians. The band consists of the soulful Donna Lu on vocals, guitarist Todd Andrew, Rolf Gehrung on harmonies, and David Chock on drums. The event will also feature a Vintage & Artisan Street Faire, as well as food vendors such as Bear City Social, Paradise Shaved Ice, Paso Catering, and Zen Dog.

The City of Atascadero has planned a variety of events for the First Fridays series throughout the year, including a Stellar Band and food truck event on April 7, a “Cinco de Mayo Sip & Shop” with tamale food booths and trucks on May 5, and a downtown pub crawl on June 2. Other events include a downtown stage with Sōleffect Band on July 7, a concert in downtown at The Plaza with DeJaVu Band on Sept. 1, and a “Fall Sip & Shop” plus complimentary tours of historic Atascadero City Hall on Oct. 6. The series will conclude with “Light up the Downtown” plus the “Holiday Sip & Shop” on Dec. 1.
