Fine Arts Academy hosts annual pumpkin and costume contests
– The Fine Arts Academy in Atascadero held its annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest, Costume Contest, and Art-a-thon last Friday.
Students participated in a day filled with art and creativity, showcasing decorated pumpkins and costumes as part of the school’s fall tradition.
The Fine Arts Academy Parent Teacher Student Association coordinated the event.
Guest judges for the Pumpkin Decorating Contest included Atascadero Unified School District Board of Trustees members Tracy Ellis-Weit, Rebekah Koznek and Vy Pierce, along with Superintendent Tom Bennett and Veronica Luna.
Organizers thanked the Parent Teacher Student Association for coordinating the event and the judges for selecting winners from among the many decorated pumpkins.
