Final ‘Summer Siesta’ happening Aug. 7
–The City of Atascadero and the North County Farmer’s Market are pleased to announce our last of the Summer Siesta Series, coming up on Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 3-6 p.m. This will be the last of three Summer Siestas held at Farmers Market over the summer.
The upcoming Farmers Market for Aug. 7 will kick off the Central Coast Cider Festival weekend. With the Central Coast Cider Festival on Saturday, this Tap Takeover will give you an opportunity to sample wine and cider from Bristol’s Cider House and Lone Madrone Winery. There will be samples of gourmet recipes from Railroad BBQ and Ian’s Humble Pie. You will be able to sample and even purchase food from each vendor, plus you will be able to pick up their secret recipe so you can purchase fresh produce and ingredients at the market. Motions Academy of Dance will kick off the event and then enjoy music by Tennessee Jimmy. Cornhole boards will be out so you continue sharpening your skills, Bubble Fun will have a bounce house for the kids and there will be Giant Jenga to play too. Bring a chair and stay awhile in the beautiful surroundings of the Sunken Gardens.
After the market, take in a movie at Galaxy Theater or enjoy the many merchants and restaurants in the downtown.
Farmers Market still takes place each Wednesday in the Sunken Gardens from 3-6 p.m.
