LakeFest seeking sponsors, vendors, cardboard boat teams

The LakeFest is free and family-friendly

– The fifth annual LakeFest is set to happen on Saturday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., however, the organizers of LakeFest are still seeking sponsors, vendors, and cardboard boat teams.

The Friends of Atascadero Lake and Link Family Resource Center have also partnered together to combine the “Children’s Day in the Park” event with the fifth annual LakeFest.

The LakeFest is free and will include a variety of activities like cardboard boat races, 2-for-1 zoo tickets, music, children’s activities, food, vendors, a 50/50 raffle, and a fishing derby.

Music will be performed by the local band Bremen Town, which features Thomas Zaldivar on guitar, Katye Greenaway on banjo, Jim Highland on Ukulele bass, and Sarah Blick on fiddle.
