Event honoring veterans happening today at Pine Mountain Cemetery 

The event is open to the public

– On Saturday, Dec. 18, at 12 p.m. Wreaths Across America will host a ceremony of laying down remembrance wreaths on the graves of veterans at Pine Mountain Cemetery in Atascadero. Organizers will say the veterans’ names to honor them.

There are over 700 veterans buried at Pine Mountain Cemetery, but so far only 249 wreaths have been sponsored so far. There are still 451 wreaths to go and those interested can sponsor wreaths at $15 each.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony and help with the placing of wreaths.
