Earth Shine cleanup event today in Atascadero

Local volunteers are welcome to join the cleanup

The Earth Shine group will host a cleanup event this Saturday, February 12 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. starting at the Sunken Gardens.

The group will provide gloves, grabbers, safety vests and bags for any volunteers that would like to join to help clean up the community.

First-time volunteers should arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a safety waiver. Volunteers should wear long pants and closed-toed shoes as a safety precaution. The group also advises volunteers to bring water to stay hydrated and a mask for when working in close proximity to others
