Earth Day Food and Wine festival returns this weekend
Chefs, farmers and winemakers will be serving up a wide variety of sustainable fare
–The 10th annual Earth Day Food & Wine festival will return this year to Castoro Cellars on April 23.
The festival delivers a quality food, beer and wine experience paired with a casual, low-key atmosphere.
The festival was borne from the desire to share sustainable wine and food with hungry eaters and caring connoisseurs. Chefs, farmers and winemakers will be serving up a wide variety of sustainable fare.
Proceeds from this event support Spanish-speaking workers in the local agricultural industry and their families in two ways:
- Educational scholarships for vineyard workers’ relatives
- Free Spanish language education for vineyard workers
