Local family asking for help with vet bills after dog attack

baby face

–Six-month-old local canine Baby Face was recently attacked by another dog in North County. The dog’s owner’s sister, Cindy Conn, took it upon herself to bring the dog to the ER immediately after the attack. Once stabilized, Baby Face was brought to North County Animal Hospital where they conducted surgery and cleaned the many wounds that Baby Face sustained. Baby Face has four drains and sustained a lot of bites.

The family is asking for donations to help cover the cost the vet bills and recovery. They have created a Gofundme page. To donate, click here: www.gofundme.com/2g639tw.

Baby Face is currently recovering from the ordeal. The most recent update on the Gofundme read:

Baby Face is getting stronger every day. Her leg is almost completely healed and we are no longer getting bonked in the back of our legs by the cone. I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who has shared the post and especially to those who have donated. I’ll post some photos later this evening so you can see how cute she is now that she is no longer a “cone head!”
