Crews contain structure fire in Atascadero 

Shed near intersection of Miramon and Buena Avenue catches fire

– Atascadero Fire and Emergency Services arrived on the scene of a structure fire at Miramon and Buena Ave. in Atascadero at around 2:05 p.m. Saturday afternoon. A 30x 60 shed was fully involved upon arrival with extension into nearby trees. No other structures were damaged.

The fire was contained within 30 minutes with assistance from Templeton, Cal Fire, and Paso Robles. At this time, the cause has not been determined. Fire investigators responded to the scene and Atascadero and Templeton Fire Crews remained at the scene until fully extinguished. The railroad was shut down for two hours but has since reopened.
