Craft beer festival returns to Atascadero Sunken Gardens
Sunken gardens were filled Saturday afternoon with microbrewers sharing their brews with beer enthusiasts
– Atascadero’s Sunken Gardens hosted Central Coast Craft Beer Festival Saturday afternoon. More than 50 brewers poured their beer for 2200 tasters. The event was hosted by the Central Coast Brewers’ Guild and presented by the City of Atascadero.
Event promoter Andres Nuno said the festival was a great success, “This is the first time since 2019 that we had a normal March. The festival was canceled in 2019, and delayed in 2020. We didn’t know what to expect. The turn-out was phenomenal. It was a good day for the Central Coast Brewers Guild.”
Last year, the pandemic forced a delay of the festival from March to October. Nuno said, “We weren’t sure how the quick turn-around would work out. It was challenging for us, but we pulled it off. The weather really cooperated.”
