COVID-19: Rate of infection higher in SLO County than most of state

–With a population of 283,405 and 83 reported cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus disease, San Luis Obispo County‘s ratio of cases per 100,000 people currently stands at 29.5. That places SLO County in the top 10 counties out of 58 in the state, and more than double the ratio of most of its surrounding counties. The statewide ratio is 25.1 cases per 100,000 people.
