COVID-19: Active cases in SLO County at lowest rate since November
–San Luis Obispo County added just 25 new cases of COVID-19 over the past three days. The county added seven new cases on Monday, eight on Sunday, 10 on Saturday. The 14-day average is currently hovering around 30, the lowest it has been since early November.
Currently, there are 278 active cases in the county. In January, active cases peaked at over 3000.
The county health department also reported one more death attributed to the virus, bringing the total to 247 COVID-19 deaths in the county.
The total number of people who have locally tested positive for COVID-19 since March is now 19,860. The county reports 19,326 people have recovered from the virus.
