Community invited to learn more about men’s cancer at free event
Dr. Kuntze and Dr. Foran to speak on symptoms, treatment, and lifestyle effects of various men’s cancers on Sept. 22 at The Cancer Support Community
– As part of its ongoing speaker series, The Cancer Support Community-California Central Coast presents, “A Focus on Men’s Cancer” on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 614 13th St. in Paso Robles.
Facilitated by Dr. Joseph Kuntze and Dr. Berry Foran, the goal of the presentation is to educate the public on a wide range of cancer symptoms, treatments, and lifestyle choices.
“Dr. Kuntze and Dr. Foran will help those in attendance learn more about prostate, colon, bladder, renal and testes cancers as well as discuss the various symptoms, signs, and cautions that men should be aware of,” said CSC Executive Director Christie Kelly. “In addition, they will talk about some of the side effects of treatment, post cancer surveillance, and the lifestyle effects on cancer and recurrence.”
In practice for over thirty years, Dr. Kuntze earned his undergraduate degree at San Diego State University, completed his medical education as well as his surgical and urology residencies at the University of Southern California. He has his certification from the American Board of Urology and is a past president of the California Urology Association.
Dr. Foran practiced general surgery in the North County for over thirty years and has both professional and personal experience in the treatment of cancer.
