Community flocks to 4th of July Music Festival in Atascadero 

Thousands turn out to Atascadero Lake Park to celebrate the 4th

-The Annual Atascadero 4th of July Music Festival attracted thousands of people to Atascadero Lake Park this weekend. Several bands performed Americana music ranging from folk and country to popular music.

The event raised money for Atascadero Colony Day and the Atascadero Printery Foundation. Karen McNamara of the Printery Foundation said, “We’re grateful to the public for coming out. We’re selling a lot of VIP tickets and beer to raise money for the historic Printery Building so we can restore that building for the community to use.”

The warm weather made an ideal environment for the return of the music festival after a one year absence.
