City hosting Downtown Atascadero infrastructure enhancement meetings
–The City of Atascadero is inviting the public to a series of informational meetings that will be held over the next few weeks to learn about Atascadero’s Downtown Infrastructure Enhancement Plan.
The meetings will review how the plan will increase pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle safety, enhance the appearance of the area, increase commerce and increase parking opportunities. It will also encourage vehicles to obey traffic speeds, as well as connect the downtown businesses on both sides of El Camino Real within the Downtown between Galaxy Theater and Rosario Avenue.
These informational meetings will allow the public to view and learn about conceptual plans and provide the opportunity to ask questions.

Historic City Hall, Lewis Ave. Entrance, Council Chambers, 4th Floor:
Wednesday, March 11 at 10 a.m.
Thursday, March 12 at 4 p.m.
Tuesday, March 17 at 6 p.m. (Planning Commission Meeting)
Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m.
