City hosting 19th annual Father-Daughter Sweetheart Dance
Volunteers should meet in front of The Pavilion on the Lake.

– The City of Atascadero presents the 19th annual Father-Daughter Sweetheart Dance at the Pavilion on the Lake. The event, themed “Boots & Beauties,” invites fathers, uncles, grandfathers, or any special guests to enjoy a semi-formal evening of dancing to music provided by DJ Manny Medina. The dance features snacks, door prizes, and more.
The dance takes place on Feb. 2 and 3. The Friday evening dance, suggested for ages 12 and under, runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Saturday dance, recommended for ages 12 and over, is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Both events are held at the Pavilion on the Lake, 9315 Pismo Avenue in Atascadero. Professional photographer Jimmy De is on-site offering affordable picture packages.
Tickets for Atascadero residents with a 93422-zip code are $36 per couple, while non-residents can purchase tickets for $41 per couple. Additional daughter tickets are available for $5 each. All tickets must be purchased in advance at the Colony Park Community Center, 5599 Traffic Way, Atascadero, from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. No tickets will be sold at the door.
