City accepting youth volleyball registrations through June 1
– The city of Atascadero is accepting registrations for its summer youth volleyball league, with spots available for boys and girls entering third through eighth grade.
Registration closes June 1. All practices and games will be held on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings at the Colony Park Community Center Gym.
Practices begin June 16. League games run from June 30 through July 30, with divisions currently scheduled to begin at the following times: third and fourth grade at 4:30 p.m., fifth and sixth grade at 5:30 p.m., and seventh and eighth grade at 6:30 p.m. Times are subject to change to accommodate all registrations.
The league emphasizes learning fundamentals, player participation, teamwork, and fun. Volunteer coaches are needed.
