Children’s day in the park returns May 21

Event is free to attend; $5 wristband allows access to carnival area

–The 27th annual Children’s Day in the Park will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Atascadero Lake Park from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The event is free to attend. Attendees can purchase a $5 wristband for their child to gain entry into the carnival area. The carnival will include bounce houses, many carnival games with prizes and rides on the Elk’s train.

Children’s Day in the Park gives local service organizations and businesses a chance to showcase their services, while also giving parents an opportunity to discover available family resources. Vendor booths will also be selling a variety of food and drinks.
