Chance of rain in the forecast next week for Atascadero

Clear skies ahead for Atascadero through next week’s forecast

– A stretch of warm, sunny weather will give way to a cooler pattern and a chance of rain early next week in Atascadero.

Highs are expected to hover near 79 degrees Friday and Saturday, climbing to about 83 on Sunday under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will remain in the mid-40s to upper 40s.

A cooling trend begins Monday, when temperatures drop to the mid-70s with increasing cloud cover. By Tuesday, highs will fall to the mid-60s, and forecasters are calling for afternoon showers with about a tenth of an inch of rain possible.

The cooler pattern lingers through midweek. Highs are expected to stay in the upper 60s Wednesday and Thursday, with partly cloudy skies returning after Tuesday’s rain chance. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 30s to around 50 degrees, with the coolest nights expected later in the week.

Conditions turn slightly warmer again by Friday, with highs nearing 70 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Residents can expect a noticeable shift from the weekend’s warmth to a cooler, more unsettled pattern, with the best chance of precipitation arriving Tuesday afternoon.
