Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club sponsoring another drive-through barbecue
–The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce has announced a “Summer Eats” event – a drive-through BBQ coming to the Atascadero Chamber and Wild fields Brewhouse parking lot from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25. This time drivers can enjoy a chicken dinner with a side of potato salad. A vegetarian choice of gazpacho will be provided by Central Coast Distillery. Root beer floats will again be on the menu provided by Wild Fields Brewhouse. The Central Coast Roller Derby skaters will once again be on hand to deliver your food. The event is sponsored in part by the City of Atascadero.
“Our first drive-through was a great success so we wanted to provide another one to the community,” said Emily Reneau, President/CEO of the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. “The Kiwanis are great partners and we worked well together. We decided this time we would switch up the menu! Central Coast Distillery and Wild Fields Brewhouse are also great community partners to the Chamber and look forward to bringing us Root Beer floats and Gazpacho. Medina Light Show Designs will be on had to provide music while drivers drive through.”
Tickets must be purchased in advance by going to Atascaderochamber.org/events/events-calendar. Chicken and potato salad are $12 for adults and $9 for children and seniors. Rootbeer floats are $6. Gazpacho is $10.
