The orchestra also offers performance opportunities for young musicians through its Student Spotlight program and presents interactive performances in local schools.

In 2015, the Off the Vine chamber music series was created to feature musicians from the orchestra. It has since become a popular and successful program, showcasing a diverse range of music, from the 1600s to world premieres of new compositions.
