Caltrans closes 12-mile stretch of Highway 1 after rockslide
Northbound lane blocked by slide on blind curve
– A 12-mile section of Highway 1 is closed overnight between Ragged Point in northern San Luis Obispo County and Gorda in southern Monterey County due to a small slide covering the northbound lane on a blind curve.
Crews will be on-site today at first light to assess the conditions and clear debris from the roadway. There is no estimated time for reopening.
