Call for artists for ARTery ‘Under $200’ art show
–The ARTery in Atascadero is putting out a call for artists for their, “Under $200 Art Show.” All ages and experience levels are welcome to enter one or two pieces. The deadline is Nov. 12. This show is un-juried, so all entries are welcome, with a few exceptions:
- No reproduction prints (photos OK)
- Nothing obscene (ask if you are not sure)
- Nothing dangerous
- Nothing extremely big (ask us what this means)
- We reserve the right to reject art for any reason.
There is no fee to enter. The artist gets 60-percent of the sale price. Art must be hangable (i.e., a hanging wire is strongly preferred… we can install a wire for $5) or free standing. If your art could get damaged by sun exposure, please let us know.
This year we are requiring all artists to attend the opening on Nov 18 for at least about an hour and to invite friends, family, co-workers, really any human. You are welcome to bring food and drinks, but not required.
Art must be picked up by Jan. 16. They will charge $1 per day storage fee for up to 30 days. On Feb 16, all abandoned art will be forfeited.
