Big Hero Six to be play at ‘Movies in the Gardens’ August 1
– The City of Atascadero Recreation Division with presenting sponsors Waste Management, Idler’s Home and the New Times will present the 2015 Movies in the Gardens series beginning August 1 and running every Saturday through August 22, beginning at approximately 8 p.m. All shows are held in the Sunken Gardens Park located at 6500 Palma Avenue in Atascadero and are family appropriate. The event is free.
Saturday August 1 they will present, “Big Hero 6.” A story about the special bond that develops between a plus-sized inflatable robot Baymax, and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who team up with a group of friends to form a band of high-tech heroes.
The community is encouraged to bring a blanket, low-back chair, and their family to relish the warm summer evenings. A snack bar will be open every week with food and beverages to purchase, provided by St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
