Balboa Road to be closed to through traffic for rehabilitation
Closure will be from Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
– The City of Atascadero has announced that work on the 2022 F-14 Pavement Rehabilitation Project is progressing. In order to expedite construction and provide the best possible finished product, the contractor will be closing Balboa Road between San Fernando Road and Santa Ana Road to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, and Friday, Sept. 9 during paving operations.
Residents on this section of Balboa Road will have access to their homes, but there may be delays if paving is occurring near your driveway. The city recommends planning additional time when leaving or returning home, and please notify traffic control personnel where your home is located so they can provide up-to-date best route information.
For residents in areas surrounding the streets listed below, alternative routes will need to be used.
