Badge pinning ceremony to be held in San Luis Obispo 

Ceremony will be held April 6Cal Fire reduces paramedics to Carissa Plain

–Cal Fire/San Luis Obispo County Fire Department will hold an official badge pinning ceremony on Wed., April 6 at 4 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors Chambers.

District 5 Supervisor Debbie Arnold will swear in the newly appointed division Chief Scotty Jalbert, a battalion chief, fire captains, and fire apparatus engineers. The public is invited to attend. Also being recognized will be employees with 25 years of state service. Refreshments will follow the ceremony.

“I am honored to be a part of the Cal Fire Badge Pinning Ceremony once again,” said Arnold. “I consider it a great privilege to recognize the men and women who dedicate their lives with such sacrifice for our safety.”
