To secure an invitation, contact Myrna Wood at (805) 460-6129 or via email at [email protected]. The event promises a gathering of distinguished guests, including the newly appointed Colony Days Royalty. The occasion will mark the ceremonial transition of regalia from the outgoing royalty to their successors.
Participants can anticipate an afternoon filled with reconnecting with old acquaintances, recounting shared memories, savoring homemade delicacies, and partaking in traditional entertainment, fostering a sense of classic amusement.
The concept for the Colony Tea originated from the creative mind of the late Edith Hessick. During her tenure as the club’s president in 1977, Hessick’s noteworthy accomplishment was the initiation of the Colony Days Tea.
