Friday last day to register for youth basketball league
–The City of Atascadero will enter into another season of Winter Youth Basketball and has extended the deadline for signups. This program stresses the importance of individual skill development, teamwork, positive attitudes and most of all fun! In a non-competitive setting, leagues are offered for both boys and girls in grades 1st through 12, at any skill level. Games are held on Saturdays and practices take place during the week.
Regular registration fees were available only until Oct. 12. From now through Oct. 26, the total registration fee, including a $10 late fee, is $102 for Atascadero residents or $111 for non-Atascadero residents. There is a $5 discount available to additional family members. After October 26th, interested registrants will be placed on a waiting list.

Important dates
Coach’s Meeting: Wed, Nov. 14 at 5:30 p.m.
Practices: Weekly, starting Nov. 26 and running thru March 2. Exact practice dates and times will depend on team member ages and coach’s availability. Schedules will be available after Nov. 16.
Games: Saturdays, Jan. 5 through March 2
