Atascadero offering robotics camp

The Atascadero Greybots team.
–The City of Atascadero is partnering with the World Champion “Greybots” Robotics Team of Atascadero High School to host a VEX IQ Robotics Summer Camp, which be held for one week only, from June 26 to 30, at the Colony Park Community Center located at 5599 Traffic Way in Atascadero. This camp is open to children ages 8 to 14; with ages 11 to 14 meeting from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and ages 8 to 10 meeting from 1-4:30 p.m. The cost is $252 for Atascadero residents and $277 for non-residents.
Participants in this unique summer camp will have the opportunity to design, build, wire, and program robotics and on the final day, compete against each other in a mock competition. Camp-goers will have fun learning about engineering while gaining valuable leadership and communication skills.
