Atascadero Lakeside WineFest returns with wine, music, and food
Festival proceeds will fund zoo care and education programs
– The Atascadero Lakeside WineFest will return to Atascadero Lake Park on June 21, with tickets selling quickly for the annual event.
In its 27th year, the wine festival will feature over 100 wines from more than 50 wineries, along with craft breweries, cideries and specialty food vendors. Guests will have access to unlimited tastings, live music, artisan booths and interactive activities during the afternoon event.
A unique feature of the festival is the “Roar-and-Pour” experience at the Charles Paddock Zoo, where guests can sample wines inside the zoo. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the Charles Paddock Zoo, supporting animal care, education programs and conservation efforts.
“This is more than just a wine festival, it’s a celebration of the Central Coast’s vibrant wine culture, our community’s spirit, and the incredible people and businesses who make it all possible,” said Josh Cross, president and chief executive officer of the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. “It’s also a fundraiser that supports our beloved local zoo, making it a win for everyone.”
General admission tickets include unlimited tastings, entry to the zoo during the event and access to activities throughout the park. Advance purchase is recommended. The event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m.
