Atascadero High School student elected California FFA state president
Jaycee Salas will represent more than 180,000 members statewide
– Atascadero High School student Jaycee Salas has been elected the 2026-2027 state president of the California FFA.
Salas was selected following what the organization described as a competitive selection process. In the role, Salas will spend the next year traveling across California, leading workshops, visiting schools, and representing more than 180,000 members while advocating for agriculture and student leadership at the state level.
Atascadero High School officials said the election reflects the opportunities available to students through the school’s FFA program.
The Atascadero High School FFA program will present at a school board meeting April 21, where officials will formally recognize Salas for the achievement.
