Atascadero Greyhounds to play the Newbury Park Panthers

Kick-off is at 7 p.m. tonight at Newbury Park

–Tonight, the Atascadero Greyhounds play the Newbury Park Panthers in the second game of their 2021 fall football season. The Greyhounds are coming off a 35-0 win over the Torres Toros of Madera.

In that home opener, Jr. Quarterback Evan Moscardi completed 7-12 passes for 169 yards with no interceptions. He threw two touchdown passes.

Jr. Cole Tanner ran for 105 yards on 15 carries. He scored three touchdowns. Diego Real rushed for 93 yards on 14 carries. Dallas Parish caught two touchdown passes and had two big sacks on defense. Mason Degnan intercepted one pass for the Greyhounds. Wyatt Mulhall had 14 tackles, including nine solo tackles.

Last Friday, Newberry Park beat Crescenta Valley High School 42-0, so both the Panthers and the Greyhounds are 1-0 for the early season. Kick-off is at 7 p.m. tonight (Friday) at Newbury Park.
