Art and Wine Tour slated for March 24 

Atascdero art and wine–The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce will partner with the Downtown Merchants and Visit Atascadero to present the Art and Wine Tour. This event will be held throughout Atascadero’s downtown on Friday, March 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It will be a wonderful opportunity for the community to experience all that Atascadero’s downtown has to offer with food, shopping, and of course, local art and wine!

Over 15 participating Atascadero merchants are involved in this event, opening their places of business to offer something special for visitors to enjoy. Local wineries will be pouring and local artists displaying their pieces inside the businesses downtown! Businesses participating range from boutique clothing shops to unique restaurants. Merchants include 805 Board Shop, Arlyne’s Flowers, Atascadero Art Association, The Book Odyssey, Century 21, Farron Elizabeth, Fire Station 1, Grape Encounters, Historic City Hall, LoCal Love, Mudflat Mercantile, Rhonda’s Relics, Ruby Cellars, Scotty’s BBQ, The Carlton Hotel and Violette Wings and Giftey Things. A few featured wineries include Changala, Derby, Dubost, Felten Cellars, Frolicking Frog, Grey Wolf, Harmony Cellars, Hoyt Family Vineyard, Lone Madrone, Opolo, Pomar Junction, Robert Hall, Ruby Cellars, and Treana Winery. Artists involved include George Asdell, Karen Boaz-Hernandez, DePrise Brescia, Luda Bryan, Steve Collins, Diane Harrison, Gary Hix, Kees Frazier, Deborah Kyle Hintergardt Melodie Jordan, Nancy Koren, Charlene Martyn, Penelope Monmonier, Frank Rocha, Joe Schwartz, Cheryl Strahl, and Eileen Zachary.

Come on over to Historic City Hall to enjoy complementary, docent-led tours presented by the Atascadero Historical Society. Also, make your way over to Fire Station 1 at 6005 Lewis Street for a tour of the Station and meet local Fire Fighters.

Tickets will be available online at www.atascaderochamber.org and on the day of the event starting at 5:15 p.m. on March 24 at two check-in locations: In front of Historic City Hall located at 6500 Palma Ave and in the Grape Encounters courtyard located at 5816 Traffic Way in Atascadero. The ticket price is $15 per person and includes a complementary, commemorative wine glass as well as a discount coupon to Street Side Ale House. Cash and checks will be accepted; however, credit cards will not.
