Art and wine tour happening March 23 in downtown Atascadero  

The Atascadero art and wine tour will be Friday, March 23.

Art and wine tour offering food, shopping, prizes and more

—The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner with the Downtown Colony District to present the 2018 Art and Wine Tour series. This month’s event will be held throughout Atascadero’s downtown on Friday, March 23, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to experience all that Atascadero’s downtown has to offer with food, shopping, local art and wine.

Grab your friends and family to participate in this fun-filled night with a chance to win some incredible prizes. As you stroll through Downtown Atascadero’s businesses viewing the beautiful artwork, wine tasting and shopping, play our (Downtown Picture Scavenger Hunt) and be on the lookout for a clue at each business. Turn in your game card at the end of the evening at Grape Encounters Em-Pour-ium for your chance to win tickets to the Central Coast Beer Fest, entry to the Tent City Marathon None Run, an Arlyne’s Flowers gift certificate or a gift certificate to the Carlton Bar and Lounge.

There will be 19 participating Atascadero merchants involved in this event, opening their places of business to offer something special for visitors to enjoy. Businesses participating range from boutique clothing shops to unique restaurants with a putting green.

Merchants involved are: 805 Boardshop, Arlyne’s Flowers, Anna & Mom, Baby’s Babble, City of Atascadero, Edward Jones – Charles Matthews, Farron Elizabeth, Grape Encounters Em-Pour-ium, Hope Chest Emporium, TABLE – Heidi Peterson Ceramics, Mr. Putters Putt Putt and Ortega’s Mexican Cuisine, Mudflat Mercantile, O’Leary Wallace, LLP, Patterson Realty, Ruby Cellars, Scissor Clothing, The Book Odyssey and The Carlton Hotel. A few featured wineries include Ancient Peaks, Baileyana, Tangent & True Myth, Changala Winery, Felten Cellars, Frolicking Frog, Groundwork/San Leige, Hope Family Wines, Hoyt Family Vineyard, Hunt Cellars, Justin Winery, Lone Madrone, Opolo Vineyards, Ruby Cellars, Summerwood Winery, Villa San Juliette and Wild Horse Winery.

Tickets are available online at www.AtascaderoChamber.org and on the day of the event starting at 5:15 p.m. There will be two check-in locations: in front of Historic City Hall located at 6500 Palma Ave and in the Grape Encounters courtyard located at 5816 Traffic Way in Atascadero. The ticket price is $20 per person and includes a commemorative wine glass as well as a discount coupon to Street Side Ale House & Eatery.
