Art Center Morro Bay presenting, ‘Show Off’ and ‘Wildlife’ exhibits
Opening reception for the exhibits will be held on Sunday, June 30
– Art Center Morro Bay will host the “Show Off” and “Wildlife” exhibits, along with featuring artist Phillip Lopez.
“Show Off” celebrates the community’s talented artists by allowing members to select two of their best and most representative pieces. The exhibition will award first, second, and third-place ribbons. The professional artist judge has yet to be determined.
The “Wildlife” exhibit, presented by Central Coast Printmakers, will run from June 27 to Aug. 5. This exhibition celebrates 40 years of the local art group and will feature hand-pulled art print images of real and imagined creatures from California’s Central Coast. Members will showcase a variety of traditional printmaking techniques honoring wildlife and their impact on human life.
Phillip Lopez, a well-known ceramicist, will display his work as the Art Center Morro Bay’s featured artist.
An opening reception for the exhibits will be held on Sunday, June 30, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
