Art Center Morro Bay offers free watercolor painting class

– Art Center Morro Bay will hold a free watercolor painting demonstration with artist Jan French on Saturday, April 5, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
French, who began painting as a child, has pursued art since her twenties. Growing up in an artistic family, her father, an artist himself, often invited prominent artists such as Millard Sheets, Milford Zornes, and Phil Paradise into their home.
French later became a professional freelance illustrator and graphic designer. Her work has been shaped by the words of artist Winslow Homer: “Paint what you see.”
The demonstration is free and open to all. It will take place at Art Center Morro Bay, located at 835 Main Street.
