Apartment fire reported in Atascadero 

–Early Wednesday afternoon, the Atascadero Fire and Emergency Fire responded to a fire in a two-unit apartment on Amapoa Avenue in Atascadero. The fire was quickly contained. There weren’t any injuries to report.

Both units were saved, but the building has been yellow tagged and the reason for the fire is under investigation. Atascadero Fire & Emergency services are currently working with the Red Cross to find shelter for the occupants that have been displaced.
