Annual Christmas market to return to Cambria with new attractions
Market opens Nov. 29
– The Cambria Christmas Market announced its return for the 2024 holiday season, extending its run from Nov. 29 through Dec. 31. The annual event, known for its display of over 3 million lights, is now selling tickets and hotel packages.
Event Manager Mike Arnold said, “Our team works hard year-round to make this a truly magical event on the Central Coast. We are so happy to see the excitement around this year’s event and our extended dates – tickets and overnight stays are selling faster than ever before!”
The market features a German vendor market, Santa Claus, train rides, live music, and a Biergarten offering local brews and traditional German gluhwein. This year, the event will host 46 local vendors, double the number from last year.
Open most dates from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., admission ranges from $25 to $40 for ages 6 and up, with children 5 and under admitted free. Tickets are available online in advance. VIP parking passes are available for $60 at Cambria Pines Lodge and $40 at Cambria Nursery. Free shuttles will operate throughout town.
The neighboring Cambria Nursery will participate with its own light display, Christmas Shoppe & Museum, and shopping opportunities starting Oct. 1.
Overnight hotel packages, which include event admission and breakfast, are available at Cambria Pines Lodge, Sea Otter Inn, and The J. Patrick House & Inn.
Additional holiday events in Cambria include performances of “A Christmas Carol” by Gerald Charles Dickens, great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens, from Nov. 15-17 at Cambria Pines Lodge. Dinner shows and matinees are available.
Cambria Pines Lodge will also present “Shaking Up Christmas,” a holiday musical with a five-course dinner, on Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 23 to Dec. 29 at 2:30 p.m.
