Annual Atascadero Lake perimeter clean up this October 

The clean up will last a few hours

–The Friends of Atascadero Lake and the City of Atascadero are working together to clean up unwanted brush along the path of the lake perimeter on Saturday, October 23, and anybody interested in improving the lake environment is welcome to join in the efforts.

The cleanup endeavor will begin at 8:30 a.m. and run until 12 p.m.

Last year’s efforts were successful in improving the viewshed and clearing up the area.

Volunteers should meet in front of the pavilion at 8:30 a.m. to register for the clean up.

Recommended supplies:

• Gloves
• Loppers
• Hat
• Water

Coffee and donuts will be available during the morning of the event, but the organizers ask that volunteers inform them in the case that they’d like to stay for a light lunch.
