Adoptable Pet of the Week: Socks

Socks
—This week’s Adoptable Pet of the Week is Socks, from Woods Humane North County.
Socks is a quiet gentleman of a cat. This nine year old guy has been at Wood’s Atascadero shelter for over six months, and he would really like to find a new home.
Socks grew up in Templeton around dogs, cats, kids and livestock, and he lived an indoor and outdoor life. His favorite pastimes now are sleeping in a sunny spot on the porch and getting his head scratched by visitors. Socks is a senior cat and would be a good companion for a senior family; he is available to a senior person (65 or older) with no adoption fee. Socks has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and he is ready to go home today.
Woods Humane North County has a variety of cats and kittens available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at woodshumanesociety.org/adopt/. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit our shelter to find the right cat for their family.
Woods Humane North County is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open daily from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call Woods North County at (805) 466-5403.
