Adoptable pet of the week: Pierra
Senior cat available for free to senior over 55 years old
–This week’s edition of North County Adoptable Pet of the Week is Pierra from the North County Humane Society. Pierra lived in Paso Robles with his bengal brother Rico until their person became disabled and could no longer look after them. They were both brought to NCHS, and Rico has been adopted. Now it is Pierra’s turn.
Pierra is a large, loving 8-year-old. He has a distinctive black and white face and bold green eyes. He follows visitors around NCHS and craves attention. He will probably be a great lap cat once he gets to know you.
Pierra has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and he is ready to go home with his new family today. Since he is a “senior” cat – 8 years or older – he is available for the NCHS Senior for Senior program and is free to a senior over 55 years old.
NCHS has many cats and kittens available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit NCHS to find the right cat for their family.
The North County Humane Society is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call NCHS at (805) 466-5403.
