Adoptable pet of the week: Butter Cream
–This week’s edition of North County Adoptable Pet of the Week is Butter Cream from the North County Humane Society.
Butter Cream is a friendly, young, medium hair Siamese snowshoe girl with lots of energy. She came to North County Humane one month ago from Bakersfield where she was found on a driveway and the property owners could not keep her. We believe she is about one year old.
Butter Cream wants to play! She chases balls, string toys, kitten tails and anything else that moves. She has been indoor at NCHS but was outdoors before she came there. They don’t know how she is around dogs, but she does well with kids at NCHS, according to staff. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and she is ready to go home with her new family today.
NCHS has many cats and kittens available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit NCHS to find the right cat for their family.
The North County Humane Society is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call NCHS at (805) 466-5403.
