Adoptable pet of the week: Lilo
–This edition of North County Adoptable Pets of the Week features petite calico Lilo.
Lilo was dropped off at North County Humane Society in October by an anonymous Good Samaritan.
She is a 1 to 2-year-old petite calico female girl with, “surprisingly soft fur.” She is friendly, outgoing and gets along with the other cats. She is playful and enjoys pouncing on kitty toys, and she is one of the first cats to greet visitors to the NCHS cat room.
Lilo would love to greet visitors to your house, so won’t you give her a new home for the holidays?
NCHS had a tremendous number of adoptions last week and will be sending at least 17 cats and kittens to new homes for Christmas.
NCHS has many cats and kittens available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit NCHS and find a cat with the right “purrsonality” for their family.
The North County Humane Society is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call NCHS at (805) 466-5403.
