Adoptable pet of the week: Duchess
–This week’s edition of North County Adoptable Pet of the Week features fluffy Maine Coon cat Duchess.
Duchess is an lovely looking brown tabby with a white tummy; she truly fits her elegant name. Her fur is long and soft and she has a classic “Maine Coon” look. Duchess is about 3 years old and came to NCHS two years ago when she was found as a stray in a Paso Robles neighborhood.
Duchess is shy around the other NCHS cats, and would appreciate a calm, quiet home where she can be indoor part time, and also have a great outdoor spot to snooze in the sun. A patient, loving new owner who can give her attention will help her to adjust to a new home.
Duchess has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and she is ready to go home with her new family today.
NCHS has many cats available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit NCHS to find the right cat for their family.
