– The Charles Paddock Zoo is once again offering a unique way to show affection this Valentine’s Day with its adopt-a-cockroach program. During the month of February, members of the public can adopt a Madagascar hissing cockroach from the zoo as a unique way to express their love, or perhaps lack thereof.
For $7, name a cockroach and receive an official certificate of adoption with a special Valentine’s name. Participants can also upgrade their gift and book a special meet and greet with a Madagascar hissing cockroach or get a special tee shirt/ hoodie for their loved one.
