A-Town Art Hop returns to downtown Atascadero this November
Art Hop brings live art and performances downtown
– The A-Town Art Hop is set to return to downtown Atascadero on Friday, Nov. 1, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will feature more than 40 local and regional artists, with their works displayed across over 30 businesses along El Camino Real, Entrada Ave., Traffic Way, and Palma Ave.
As part of the A-Town Art Hop, a special Dia de Los Muertos group exhibit will be presented. This exhibit will highlight the artists’ interpretations of the tradition, offering a connection to the culture and celebration of life.
The event will coincide with the city’s Fall First Friday, which will include live music, strolling Mariachi bands, and folkloric dancers. These activities will transform the downtown area into a hub of cultural activity.
Attendees can expect to meet artists, discover new works, and see live art demonstrations while enjoying the performances. The self-guided art walk encourages exploration, with maps available for those who wish to plan their route.
